Venerable Carlo Acutis

Born May 3, 1991, Carlo Acutis was an Italian Roman Catholic teenager known for his cheerful demeanor and computer science skills. Carlo also had a deep devotion to the Eucharist, which he put into action by documenting Eucharistic miracles from around the world and cataloging them on the website he built (view it here).

When he contracted leukemia, Carlo offered his suffering up for the pope and the Church. He died in 2006 at the age of 15.

Carlo Acutis was declared venerable by Pope Francis on July 5, 2018.

"Our aim has to be the infinite and not the finite. The Infinite is our homeland. We have always been expected in Heaven." - Carlo Acutis
